The Sun-Rahu conjunction forms Grahan (eclipse) Dosh. It thins the father's happiness, keeps the constitution weak, and brings eye and heart ailments; government service is hard to get, and enquiries, punishment or blocked promotions — even humiliating situations — mark this dosh.
For its shanti, 31,000 mantras of Surya and 80,000 of Rahu are chanted; a group of nine Brahmins completes the ritual.
The ritual is performed by learned Vedic scholars of our Pujan Mart. The havan follows the japa (about 6 hours of chanting each day). After the puja, the prasad is couriered to your home.
