When fiery Mars conjoins the shadowy Rahu, Angarak Dosh is formed — counted among the harshest yogas of a chart. Energy refuses to flow in the right direction, and a stubborn streak causes repeated losses.
To pacify it, 80,000 mantras of Rahu and 44,000 of Mangal are chanted with havan; nine Brahmins together complete this ritual.
The ritual is performed by learned Vedic scholars of our Pujan Mart. The havan follows the japa (about 6 hours of chanting each day).
