The Saturn-Ketu conjunction often brings bondage-like situations or surgery; formed in a bad house or a fierce nakshatra, its weight increases further.
For freedom from this Duryoga, 1,02,000 mantras of Shani and 70,000 of Ketu are chanted; twelve Brahmins together complete the ritual.
The ritual is performed by learned Vedic scholars of our Pujan Mart. The havan follows the japa (about 6 hours of chanting each day).
