When the Moon falls in the 6th, 8th or 12th house from Jupiter, Shakat Dosh is formed. Stability becomes elusive — early success in work is followed by sudden decline, and rewards stay smaller than the effort; a strong Dhan or Raja Yoga in the chart brings success, but only after long struggle.
For its shanti, 84,000 mantras of Guru and 48,000 of Chandra are chanted; nine Brahmins complete the ritual.
