Most people know their birth time only roughly — and three things in a chart move fast: the lagna (a sign every ~2 hours), the navamsa-lagna (every ~13 minutes) and the Moon's nakshatra-pada (the Vimshottari balance changes the moment the pada does). This tool checks all three every minute across your ±window and reports the exact time of every boundary.
Each stable stretch between boundaries becomes a candidate, laid out in a comparison table — lagna, D9-lagna, D10-lagna, nakshatra-pada, dasha balance at birth; and if you supply up to 3 event years (marriage, child, job), the mahadasha›antardasha running in that year for each candidate. The candidate whose dashas match your lived events is closest to the true birth time — the same order astrologers follow.
Does 5-10 minutes either way really matter?
The lagna usually survives, but the navamsa-lagna can flip (every ~13 minutes) — and D9 is the principal varga of marriage and fortune. Born near a pada boundary, even the dasha balance shifts. This tool shows exactly what changes inside your window.
What do event years do?
Life events are the real test of rectification — the dasha running in your marriage/child/job year can differ between candidates. The candidate showing an event-appropriate dasha (say, a 7th-lord or Venus period in the marriage year) is the strong claimant.
Will this tell me my exact birth time?
No — it is an assistant, not a judge. It counts the boundaries and lays the candidates side by side; final rectification belongs with an experienced astrologer. Ours can help.
