The axis of horary (prashna) astrology is that the moment a question is asked carries its answer — no birth details are needed. That is why this tool never asks for a time: the chart is cast for the very instant you press the button (from the server clock, so the moment stays immutable). The place is asked only because the lagna depends on location.
Judgment follows the Tajika method: between the lagna lord (the querent) and the karya lord (lord of the house of the matter — 7th for marriage, 10th for career…) the engine looks for an Ithasala (applying yoga = success) or Ishrafa (separating = delay/obstacle), with the Moon as co-witness. It also weighs benefic/malefic influence on the matter's house, the Moon's house, the lagna's movable-fixed-dual nature (speed of the matter) and the karya lord's retrogression — summed into a score whose verdict comes with every reason listed, plus a rough timing hint from the degrees left to perfect the Ithasala.
Is a prashna chart more accurate than the birth chart?
They do different jobs — the birth chart speaks of the whole life, the prashna chart answers one specific question right now. For those without a birth time, horary is a special blessing. For serious decisions, read both together.
What if I ask the same question again and again?
Horary tradition forbids it — the first sincere asking is the testimony; every repeat gives a new moment, a new lagna, and the answer loses its meaning. One question, asked once — that is the method.
Why do I sometimes get 'mixed' instead of yes/no?
Because the computation is honest — when the yogas are half favourable and half adverse, the shastra itself says delay/effort, not a firm yes. Every verdict lists its reasons, showing which yoga leaned which way.
